Voice from CEO

Since the founding of our predecessor, ZMP Inc., I have devoted more than 25 years to advancing robotics and autonomous mobility. From the early development of humanoid robots to the concept of transforming automobiles into robots—what we called RoboCar—we have consistently pursued the frontier of hardware innovation.

Today, society faces an unprecedented shortage of labor across essential industries such as logistics, security, cleaning, and facility management. Service robots are finally transitioning from experimental deployments to real-world operations. Regulatory reforms in Japan have enabled low-speed autonomous delivery robots to operate on public roads, accelerating the practical adoption of robotics in everyday infrastructure.

Our company has established domestic production and commercialization of delivery robots (DeliRo), security robots (PATORO), and rideable mobility platforms (RakuRo). These solutions address urgent societal needs while laying the foundation for a new industrial ecosystem.

However, the robotics industry remains fragmented. Most robots operate independently, with proprietary interfaces and complex configuration processes that limit scalability. This situation mirrors the early era of personal computing before networked operating systems unlocked mass adoption.

To overcome this structural barrier, we developed ROBO-HI OS — a unified platform that connects and orchestrates robots across manufacturers and applications. By standardizing operations at the task level and providing an intuitive interface, ROBO-HI OS transforms robots from isolated machines into a coordinated workforce.

The platform is already deployed in multiple facilities, where robots operate daily as part of essential services. Our next phase is to evolve from hardware-centric sales to a recurring, platform-driven business model powered by applications and data.

We believe the future of robotics is not about replacing humans, but augmenting them. Through our field service application, ROBO-HI DANCE, we aim to enable seamless collaboration between people and robots, expanding the capabilities of essential workers and redefining productivity in physical industries.

Globally, digital platforms are dominated by companies in North America and Europe, resulting in significant digital trade imbalances for many nations, including Japan. Our mission is to establish a robotics platform originating from Japan that can serve as critical infrastructure for industries worldwide.

Robotics is transitioning from a collection of devices to a foundational layer of society — as essential as electricity, transportation, and telecommunications. Our unique integration of hardware, software, and real-world operational expertise positions us to lead this transformation.

We are committed to building a sustainable, globally competitive platform that contributes to society while creating long-term value for our shareholders and partners.

I invite investors, collaborators, and innovators around the world to join us in shaping the next era of human-robot coexistence.
